Its part of a song. I know, well I think:
真理= truth
を=is a subject marker
求=to seek
but this I have no idea what めていた means in the sentence. Also, how do i pronounce 真理?
it means "get your donkey out of my soup"
真理 is pronounced "shinri". It means truth.
Please have a look at the following online dictionary of YAHOO

There are two words for truth in Japanese as far as I know.
On is 真実 (shinjitsu), and the other one is 真理.
Have a look at example sentences for shinjitsu too:

を is not a subject marker. It is an object marker.
が is the subject marker.
求めていた is one word. It is pronounced "motomete ita".
The infinitive is 求める. It means to look, to seek.

So the translation goes:
having looked for the truth.
I (or whoever) was seeking truth.
shinri
