I was shopping with my mom in a mall in a town far from ours. We went inside a store and this guy greets us and asks if we need help. I said “No but I’ll let you know if I have any questions, thanks!” So we picked out something and went to the register to pay. It was the same dude and he was just making some small talk. Then he asks “ oh are you guys from around here?” We said no and he said “oh I was going to see if you wanted a part time shift.” So after we bought our things we left the store and my mom said “Wow it’s not everyday someone gets offered a job, I bet he offered it to you because you have this natural beauty look about you.” I don’t think that’s why. I thought it was because they needed help there or, I was very nice and peppy in my response. What does it actually mean?
