Me: When you are free on Sunday?
He: After 6.
Me: I wanna meet you after 6. Don't tell me you are sleeping(It was 1:30 or so, so I thought he might be sleeping).
He: Mm...Déjà vu haha
What does he mean by that French phrase?
Update:Does it mean he felt annoyed?
(He knows I like him.)

since it does mean already seen, I think he had no idea as to how to use it.
it sounds like he was trying to be cool but failed.
Déja vu comes from a French phrase that means "already seen." (vu= past participle of the verb voir, to see) In English it is used to express a funny feeling that you have already done something before or met someone before, even though this is the first time.
You probably have a sense that what you're currently doing or seeing, has been performed before, or that you have obvious it somewhere before. It's a malaise feeling that you are repeating an action precisely the way in which it used to be performed earlier than. It without doubt occurs on account that now we have had a dream of the event earlier than or that mind indicators are firing previous reminiscences to come back up which may be just like what you're doing. It's unknown why it quite happens, there are even physics theories that it has to do with multi dimensions, but that's obviously false.
It means 'already seen' in French.
In English it's used to describe the feeling that you've been somewhere or seen something exactly like it before.
e.g. As he led me into the store I had a strange sense of deja vu.
Déjà vu, from French, literally "already seen", is the phenomenon of having the strong sensation that an event or experience currently being experienced has been experienced in the past.
The term déjà vu is French and means, literally, "already seen." If you do not understand, watch the movie' déjà vu' and yes , this movie does exists
Déjà vu is a feeling that something has happened before.
For your situation, a usable English equivalent might be:
This situation seems familiar
or
Haven't we gone through this before?
Déjà Vu means something that's happened before
Dejavu means like ..an incident which actually happened to you right now..and you felt like that incident happened to you somewhere in the past( which it doesn't )
