What do you think of the name Róisín for a girl?
I live in Ireland so it's an Irish name. What do you think of it? It's usually pronounced either Rosh-een or Roe-sheen. It means 'little rose'.
BQ: Which of the two pronunciations do you prefer? Rosh-een or Roe-sheen?

Rosh-een: "Rosh" to rhyme with "gosh" - een
Roe-sheen: "Roe" to rhyme with "go" - sheen

Beautiful name. I prefer -rosh-een- I think it sounds a bit more elegant, but roe-sheen is pretty as well.

i prefer the rush-een pronounciation,thats how people tend to prounounce it in ulster.
