Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light.—2 Cor. 11:14.
Satan has promoted many lies that could mislead us if we are not careful.
Consider some examples. Anything goes—right or wrong.
It is determined by how you feel.
This idea is promoted in the media and in entertainment.
Such a distorted view of God’s standards exerts pressure on us to cast aside all moral restraint.
The truth is that we have a desperate need for moral guidance that only God can fill. (Jer. 10:23)
God will not intervene in earth’s affairs. Being influenced by such a live-for-today spirit could cause us to become “inactive or unfruitful.” (2 Pet. 1:8)
The truth is that Jehovah’s day is fast approaching, and we must keep in expectation of it. (Matt. 24:44) God does not care about you as an individual.
Believing this satanic lie could cause us to give up, feeling that we could never be worthy of God’s love. The truth is that Jehovah loves and values his worshippers as individuals.—Matt. 10:29-31.

Satan the Father of the lie .
JW's are false Christians , they are a cult .Just accept Jesus & be saved .
I wonder who that came from ?
Looking at the context (the "big picture", Paul is complaining about the false teachers proliferating at the time and deceiving believers. There were appalling heresies around and Satan was dragging people away from the faith; his task was perhaps rendered easier by the absence of the written Word and the lack of literacy. Now we have (most of us) greater access to the Scripture than ever before, but we still have to contend against those who twist and distort the Word of God. On the issue of same-sex marriage, they would have us believe that the relevant Scriptures have been misinterpreted throughout history or that God is disposed to change His mind in the light of man's progress and that those who speak out against it are unkind and uncharitable. When we take a realistic view of the spread of Islam and the tactical moves to establish it in vital geographical areas, we are seen as bigoted and alarmist. Meanwhile, we see increasing examples of the persecution of Christians in different parts of the world and close to home and realise the extent to which the world hates us. We either curl up and hide, or remember that we are soldiers of Christ and resolve to stand our ground and fight against these things. The big temptation there is to feel despair; how can we resist such powerful attacks? What can we do to make any difference? Here Satan would have us forget how immense is the heavenly host and how omnipotent our God. We resist through studying the Word and prayer.
And this is why nobody has or ever can see God because he is always the Devil and don't we all just find that a little bit of a pathetic cop out? ... I know I do!!! ... because whenever anybody ever has a fantastic experience full of light and love and hope and faith and God shows them the future and expands their human mind into the highs of angelic glory ... it is Satan!!! = WOW!!!
So why waste our time talking about it at all then?
All is deception!
All is not love!
No matter what we experience ... we are wrong!
I know that I have seen the God of the future and the past and what's new?
Yeah!!! ... of course it was the bad guy instead of the good one!!!
It is a huge waste of a life to be taught to seek something that is always going to be wrong!!!
God cannot bless us if it is the devil ... can he now?
So they both get to rule us?
I think religious people should make up their minds because the average human being is growing tired of being told a constant contradiction that just rolls over and around itself and always equals with a "No!" and a "Wrong!" and a "You are not good enough!" ... type of answer ... don't you think it is a tad old now?
2 corinthians 11:12-15 paul is talking about other men working for satan as his ministers pretending to be Messiah's ministers instead.
Messiah only has 1 genuine church (matthew 16:18) which keeps the commandments - revelation 12:17 / 14:12 / 22:14.
1 of those commandments is to keep the sabbath - exodus 20 / leviticus 23 / hebrews 4
those that refuse to when they know better will not inherit eternal life - matthew 19:16-19
Jehovah Himself, Jesus, said that He saw Satan fall as lightening to the Earth.
While Satan is defeated, he is a master deceiver and we are to be on our guard against falsehood and not to even trust appearances. Test everything by the Word of God, study to show yourselves approved. As an application, one must review prophecies of others and or angels as well. Should they ever make a prophecy claiming it came from God and they miss it, then they are not a prophet or angel of God.

Very good, I agree!!
I think you answered that question....that it is hard to know truth from deception and anyone can be duped....yet understanding in the first place helps to watch for what is coming...and if you want to believe otherwise isn't that their right....after all hasn't he given everyone opportunity to learn?
I find it odd that a religion who knows the Bible so well can distort Bible truth so badly. I'm talking about the Jehovah Witnesses here, your church.
You are in the wrong section. This is for questions, not sermons.
