♂ WDYT of the name my cousin chose for her son?
♂ Jastyn Zandin Sear
Sear is the last name.
She decided on Jastyn on a whim. Originally, the baby boy was set to be Addynn Zaydyn (pronounced Aidan Zanden), but she thought of Jastyn one night and loved it. Her girl would have been named Ellisynn Logyn.
My cousin delivered Jastyn on July 28, 2013, which was actually a week after her original due date. He weighed a healthy 8 pounds and 1 ounce and had a full head of dark brown hair! He came home early on July 30, and both him and my cousin are doing well. So, what do you think of his name? I'm personally not a fan of it at all (especially the flow of the first and middle name), but he's as cute as can be. =)

Sorry reminds me of "nasty" and we all know that no kid wants a name that can be made fun of or has to repeatedly spell or correct the pronunciation of.
I think it is an interesting and original name, and there will not be very many other Jastyn's in his life. If the mom loves it then I do not think it really matters what other people think. If Jastyn doesn't like it when he grows up the he can choose to go by a nickname.
Jastyn sounds like a cross between Jason and Justin...I prefer Jayden, not keen on Jastyn at all. Zandin is nice though.
