Wasn’t the Tea Party wasn't invented by Republicans as a way to re-brand the Party?
It started by focusing outrage against the tax payer bailout of the big Wall Street banks. But you never hear an "anti Wall Street", "anti big bank" message from the Tea Party these days. In fact they are more likely to defend rich Wall Street bankers from being taxed.

You obviously have no idea what the tea party is about. It stands for Taxed Enough Already. It has nothing to do with abortion, big banks and so on. Only the left wing loons haven't figured that out already.
