It was nearly six years since we married (me and my wife). After two years of our married she was pregnant but failed to give a birth due to unexpected rise in her pressure while she was eight month pregnant. Since then we tried to have another but failed to do so. Her cycle is rarely appearing possibly at two or three months intervals and also in two weeks interval (though it is only once). This day she has never seen any cycle for the last four months. We have consulted our physician, one of the best physicians in the country where we are living, several times. he tried all his best including fertility treatment (injection) but not successful. We are very eager to have our biological baby. This issue disturbs us seriously, particularly frustration come to my wife. I raise issues like adopting but she strongly resists me. Now I am 39 and she is 40 and we love each other. How can we have our biological baby after ….? Is there any one who had such experience? Are there technologies that really help us? Please…. please help us……..

Look it sounds like you and your wife experience the same issues a lot of couples face. What they have come to accept is that it seems like you guys have tried everything almost. Sounds like your wife really has some serious medical issues. An idea is there are professional people in the medical field that you and your wife really need to consult and get their professional advice. Sometimes the least expected medical suggestion can work. I do not know and do not claim to know. Talk to the medical experts about the options that may or may not be available. If the medical options do not work, consider adopting a child from a foreign country. I have heard of couples going abroad to Russia, China and adopting children. Now remember this, this is an expensive venture, but it costs less to adopt from abroad than it does from the USA. I have seen families with children with these children and these families are so happy. Considering your wifes medical issues from an outsiders viewpoint this may be your best option. Please talk to the medical experts first and let them advise you.
I must caution you about having a child at this age! I'm sure your doctor has already told you that one of the largest similarities in down syndrome children is that their parents were in their late 30's. You two are going to be in your 40's! Adoption is really the only way to be sure this doesn't happen. Good Luck and PLEASE use your heads not just your hearts!
