he was both that bad and not that bad. It's hard to explain but a specialist, someone like a psychiatrist, will tell you that most of the time it's not about someone being THAT bad, it all depends on the circumstances and the personality .
In his personal life he was not that bad at all, he was attentive to people close to him , he had emotional issues that were a result of his childhood and teenage years, he wanted the best for his people, he was a dreamer and an aspiring artist(regardless of how talented he was or wasn't). At first he did good things for his country that was in major trouble.
He didn't smoke, he didn't drink ( he hated cigarette smoke), he couldn't eat meat , he used to pay for stuff that were for personal use from his own pocket ,etc.
Does this make him less of a murderer? No ,it doesn't ! He was also a murderer but there are differences between him and a random serial killer who kills for pleasure. He didn't kill for pleasure ,he didn't kill anyone with his own hands, he killed to fulfill his purpose. Again, does that make him less of a criminal? No ! He had a very evil side but he was not a monster ,he was a person and I think that is important to talk about because it is people ,like you and I , who are able of both great loving gestures and horrific crimes, sometimes in the same "package" and if we don't realize and accept this then what happened with the Jews, what happened with Hitler, will happen again ,on a larger scale or on a personal scale. It also shows the lengths to which some may go to fulfill a purpose or/and out of a mostly irrational hatred towards someone just based on their color, ethnicity, etc.
That's just like asking a child does he like candy. Yes Hitler was evil, but a very effective leader. He influenced thousands to follow him and allow thousands to die at his camps, trying to eliminate the Jewish people. Hitler was after the perfect race of blonde blue eye babies to under his submission. Hitler was only interested in his own glory and enjoying peoples praises.
No, at least I don't think so. Actually, I think a lot of things that people are going to thumbs-down me for. I believe he was deeply misunderstood and very pitiable. He was abused as a child by his father, physically and mentally/emotionally. At this time period in the world, children were raised very strictly. Parenting guidebooks in this era strongly disapproved of any sort of affection between parent and child. In fact, parents were taught to SCARE their infants in to discourage crying. The theory was that "frighten it sufficently enough and you will be master of the child forever." Due to this upbringing, young Adolf was known to have had fits of rage, a clear indication of his mental trauma.
Even though his father hated him and wished he was never born, Adolf's mother was the mirror opposite. She deeply loved her children and did whatever she could to guard them from their abusive father. However, Adolf and his mother were very close. He was very sickly as a child and she naturally wanted to protect him and see him thrive. In turn, Adolf wanted to make his mother proud. He got good grades in school and excelled in art and gymnastics. He especially wanted to have a career as an artist, but he dropped out of school when he was sixteen. (Not an uncommon thing in those days). His mother was very sick and she died two years later when Hitler was eighteen. Naturally, Hitler was devastated. She was the only person in the world who cared for him, who protected him, who loved him unconditionally. Now she was gone and Adolf wanted someone to blame. Naturally, her doctor fell into Adolf's view. He was Jewish.
A few years later, Hitler submitted an application to the Vienna Academy of Art, but he was rejected. He went to the school with some samples of his work, but he was rejected once again. Having so many life-changing events in the span of a few short years is hard on an ordinary person, but Hitler wasn't an ordinary person. He showed signs of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, obviously acquired from enduring years of childhood abuse. He was known to have been quite neurotic and paranoid of other people, all which can be traced back to one thing: abuse. If it weren't for Hitler's sh^tty upbringing, WWII probably wouldn't have happened. People are so quick to say "he's evil, he murdered 6 million people, he's crazy, he's the devil incarnate" and spaz like a Jack Russel on crack. Evil is only what one thinks it to be. Did Hitler know what he was doing? Yes. Did he wake up every morning and wonder how many atrocities he could impose on the human race before lunch break? No. He seriously thought he was doing the right thing. Maybe we don't agree with his ideology now, but Hitler was a victim of circumstance. He didn't choose to be the way he was.
Yes. People believe that he only killed 6 million people, but those were just the amount of JEWS that he killed. He also killed mentally and physically handicapped, gays, blacks, gypsies, war prisoners, etc. This amounts to millions more, which he gassed with Zyklon B. Anne Frankly, this is out of Mein Kampfort zone.
Hitler was not bad when he first started in politics, he was a great speaker (and still was until his death) and he did put Germany back on its feet again, and gave the German people their pride back again. However the evil in him took over and the rest is history.
He was a great man, who did many great things for mankind and science.
Hollywood and the jew propaganda machine has brainwashed the pathetic sheep on this planet into believing the whole made up story about the 6 million lies!
There was no holocaust.. it was the HOLOHOAX!
The communist scum has killed 100 TIMES more innocent people than any other political system, but because communism runs on jew ideals, you just don't hear about it!
He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and never committed adultery. people have to think before judging someone.
