Wal-Mart requires that on the job employees address customers with “happy holidays” instead “Merry Christmas” even if the employees celebrate Christmas as part of their religion or culture. What dilemma does this directive present in a diverse, multicultural, and democratic society such as ours?
I'm having a problem identifying the correct psychology process for this question

It doesn't represent one. As an atheist, i celebrate the season and being with family, not the birth of Jesus. I know that people who are Jewish get pissed when people put up christmas decorations, and Christians get pissed over "happy holidays", and so on. You can't please everyone, but you please more people this way
Because not every body celebrates christmas and there is some other holidays going on at the same time.as christmas
