i tried to register a login name- "dino" with yahoo but ur service showed that its not available but i was and am damn sure that nobody has taken the username"dino", then why yahoo keep giving false statements and lie to persons who wanna register.I don’t expect this kind of false unleaded statements by yahoo at least and I m very shocked of all this happening
Also ,I have replied to yahoo customer service that activation code and other details of this " [email protected] " send to me at my address at [email protected] as this account "[email protected]” " is not created by me at all, someone else did it , now its yahoo problem to found who did it and why. I m not responsible for any action taken by this unknown infilitrator who send the activtion code of the above mentioned account at address of mine at rock.com. Think this is abuse or may be yahoo is irritated as in reality told what happened with me when i try to register with "dino"with www.yahoo.com. Reality Bites- iguess
Update:actually when i was trying to post it the server link of mine get broken and then i think that it's not posted so everytime i went back and click on submit and at last i give up( i thought that my topic in not posted but shockingly it get posted 5 times) . Actually i was trying to post it on time cmpletely only - think now u understand- specially woonie, i hope

Its possible that someone began the registration process using "dino" as their ID, but never completed it. I began registering an account (not with Yahoo, but in Gmail) and the system locked me out half way through. When I went back later to see if it was working, the user name did not exist (when I tried to login) but when I tried to create a new user using the name it told me that it was taken.
Seems to be a common technical glitch.
Not available does not mean that someone is Using the ID. It means that the name is NOT AVAILABLE TO BE REGISTERED. It could be an internal reasoning, or a reserved name used by the system. There is no rhyme or reason to it, but it does NOT mean they are lying to you.
