United States vs United Kingdom “bills”?
Hey I’m looking to move from the us to uk within the next 6 months and I was looking for an easy cheap living situation. I’m not familiar with how European economy works so if I have a flat that is 449pcm and it say the bills are around 50 pounds a month, would there be any other costs for monthly bills other than obvious food costs and personal things or would it just be £499 in total?

£449 would be purely the rent. £50 would be an estimate of gas, electricity, water and council tax (the property tax) but you'd have to ask specifically what bills it covers.
I assume you have or will have a visa or you won't be moving.
You will need a work permit and a job.
