Yes there are non-protestant Christian denominations besides the RC Church, lots of them: Orthodox and Coptic. I have heard an argument that Baptists are not protestant either. Maybe some are and some are not? There are a number of Baptist denominations.

Yes, I am a member of our local Baptist church and we are protestants. Many of us are 'born-again Christians', some are 'members of the church'. That is, probably, very true of the majority of members of various churches.
