...would you take it?
Let's just say a magic wizard (or something) approached you and said, i will give you £100,000 but you are NEVER allowed to listen to any music ever again. Ever*
Would you take it? If not: how much would you take? a million pounds? 2 million? how much is music worth to you?
* Of course it would be impossible to regulate this deal. It's just hypotheitcal.
Update:ok jimmy, you can convert them toy your american dollars =P

Nothing in the world can stop me from listening to music
I'd turn it down flat. While there are things more important to me than music (my family, for instance) I really don't want to imagine a world without music. Whenever the question is asked, "Which of the 5 senses would you give up if you had to?" hearing is always the LAST one I choose.
No way, I could never do such a thing like give up playing music, or listening to music, i could never give up playing my guitars,my drums,or my bass, my life would just stop completely i would probably die.
No way. The feelings that my music give to me, no amount of money could do that. Music and the feeling it gives are priceless.
Yes. I think I could handle it.
I pretty much gave up all music once for six years while I was an Evangelist.
No amount of money could replace what music does for me and has meant to me over the course of my life.
No way. no amount of money. Some things are more important than money. Music is to me.
No money in the world would have me stop listening to music, METAL FOR LIFE\,,/
That deal's hella bunk!
Now if it was somewhere in the neighborhood of the upper billions I'd reconsider.
I wouldn't accept, however it may be different if actually faced with the question and the amount was hire. But even then i think i would have to say no.
