However, my best friend is convinced that she say’s “She’ll never see me again” instead of “You’ll never see me again” during the singing of the chorus. I'm pretty sure it's you'll but with her accent it might make it sound like she'll.
I reckon it's quite ambiguous, sometimes she's singing you'll and other times it's she'll, maybe she's singing about a baby daughter as well as her lover? That would be dark but would make sense in relation to the lyrics.
