Using the Cosine Rule for a right angle its hypotenuse which is x works out as 26 times the square root of 3.
In a 30-60-90 right triangle, the ratio of the shorter leg to the longer leg to the hypotenuse is
1 : √3 : 2
Here they want the hypotenuse and give the shorter so use those two parts:
SL / HY = 1 / 2 = 13√3 / x
Cross multiply: 26√3 = 1x
cos(60)=13sqrt(3)/x
x=13sqrt(3)/sin(60)
sin(60)=sqrt(3)/2
therefore
x=2*13=26
