Well before you get spammed with people blindly saying ps4 is better listen to me. The systems at they're core are nearly the same. their specs nearly mirror eachother besides minor things that the ps4 has better including a decent amount better RAM. when it comes to their policies they are nearly the same there as well. With the info at E3, the ps4 was the clear victor. however with the changes made to the xbox's policies there isn't much difference. Neither have any restrictions on used games or are. The xbox will require you to check in once every 24 hours for the system to work and apparently the kinect must always be powered on (o.O). the ps4 will have neither of these things. Aso the xbox will still require an xbox live subscription to have access to the internet and online games (i'm pretty sure the price will be the same as always). The ps4 will not require any fee for access to the network and internet; however, it will require a ps plus subscription to have access to multiplayer gaming. ps plus will cost a decent amount more than xbox live at $49.99USD per year. athough ps plus includes far more features than this and is worth it in the end if you utilize all the freebees. As for their communities, there are no guarantees either way, expect them to be the same as current gen (except there will probably be more ps4 players than there were ps3) As for games, ps4 wins with far more exclusives for day 1 and afterwards. All-in-all, i'd say the ps4 will probably be better, but the differences have been cut down to such a small degree that if you've always been an xbox gamer and would like to stay that way, you wouldn't be missing too much. As for me I will be getting the ps4. I've always been a playstation user from ps1 on and I love the exclusives and the community.
I can't say which one is better. I am a fan of XBOX 360, computer, PS3 and I still play games on the PS2. I own a PS1 but don't play it often. I am most likely going to buy the PS4. The things I have heard about both.... well the stuff about the XBOX ONE doesn't make me want to buy it. The PS4 sounds good. They both will be good consoles but it all depends on what YOU like. I don't own a original XBOX so I can't say I have been with XBOX since they started. I have been with the Playstation.
