Has WWE made Kane less terrifying by pairing him with Daniel Bryan? Before they brought back the mask I always shuttered a little bit when he came to the ring, now I just sit there and pray his matches go quick.
Yeah, WWE has done that to Kane a bunch of times. When he first showed up back in 1997, he was a complete monster and Paul Bearer did all his talking. Thy have given him the ability to talk, turned him face, dropped the mask, gave the mask back and now he's comic relief with Daniel Bryan (who is the best wrestler in the company and should be used better too). Kane should always be a heel monster who just kicks everyone's ***, but for some reason, WWE won't stop humanizing him
Pairing him with Daniel Bryan didn't do that. The Anger Management Class and turning Kane all touchy-feely hugging did. The old Kane wouldn't have just stood there arguing with Daniel Bryan week after week, he would have chokeslammed him through a table and maybe set him on fire.
Kane feeling anything but anger makes him less terrifying.
