When i inserted the card into the motherboard it worked but removed my sound and put it's own sound that wasn't working,i installed a new realtek sound driver but when i restart it the card's sound returns and of-coarse leaving my p.c without sound, i went to the products website and i found my case in the FAQ's ,they said it was because the card contained an embedded sound card which doesn't work properly in the whole model and their solution was to simply go to control panel then sounds and easily change my default device, but when i went there it wasn't even select-able (i.e it was fade and i couldn't change that option and said no devices found), i searched the web for the sound driver of the card and couldn't find it cause the installation CD doesn't say anything about sound!,tried removing and deleting the sound files in my C but when restarting they either return or a disclaimer comes telling me that those files were not found but in either case they remove my realtek i just installed before restarting,i also tried removing it from device manager but after restarting my sound doesn't return,i'm using windows xp service pack 2 , i want a way to dis-function the embedded sound card such that the vga card will not recognize that it has a sound card on board, for your info i found my case also through the web but haven't found the solution,Thanks for the one who will help me
