My work laptop is stuck in transit for days due to a winter storm. The temps were/are very low. Can the laptop get damaged? ?

Not likely. They have to be designed to be shipped in unheated cargo aircraft, so they have to be able to withstand at least -50°C.
Chances are it will be ok if it was properly packed.
