Can I take her out for walks now? if I make sure she doesn't sniff other people's poop or places where dogs have pee.
I've read a lot about this, and there are lots of different opinions, my actual vet thinks quite differently than my previous vet, so I don't know what to do, or whom to follow... I would love to take her out now, she's 2 months old, and I think that socializing her already it's important.
what do you think? or better, what do your vets think about this? thanks!
the puppy pd was given to her when she was 35 days of age, and the other one when she was 45. now she is 9 weeks old. she is a beagle
Update:I wasn't exactly asking vets, I was asking dog owners about what their vets have told them regarding my doubt. thanks anyway

Great question and YES YES YES take your pup out after first shots. Just please do not over vaccinate.
The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB) recently released a position paper ( http://avsabonline.org/) outlining the importance of early puppy socialization, preferably before the puppy reaches 12 to 16 weeks old. The AVSAB encourages owners to take their pets to puppy classes as early as possible, even before puppies have completed their full vaccination series.

OK the magazine Dogs in Canada I think last month or the month before talked about this. Basically it said yes take the small risk and get your dog socialized as they find more dogs are put down later in life due to bad or no socialization than the small percentage that might get sick as puppies. I think it said 75% are good after the first shot and 95% after the second shot and all should be good after the last booster.
I believe in socialization as being so very important that I made sure my puppy got to meet or at least see thousands of dogs and thousands of people.
Your question shows you really care a great deal for your puppy. I've had lots of dogs over my 53 years. I feel like it is safe to socialize with other people and dogs when the puppy has had all of it's puppy shots. You might want to thing about a puppy training class.
The usual time is 1-2 weeks after the last injection.
Vets aren't lurking on this site to give out free info. Ask YOUR OWN vet. I don't take pups out until they've had their complete set of shots.
