My great great grandma and my great great grandpa were part of the Freemasons and eastern star (supposedly evil) ?
Why was it called evil if Christians are in it (I'm looking into it) and most of our the USA's forefathers were Freemasons?
Update:I want info from a Member or former member. I am a Christian but I still don't see what is so evil. What do they do exactly. Because my Great Great grandma was the sweetest and most religious in my moms whole side of the family.

The idea that Masons are evil is silly. They are basically just a club that does good work in their communities. They do have secret rites, and because of this, people say all sorts of silly things about them, but, almost none are true.
