My dsl is not fast at all， why?
Even though according to the wireless signal strength, it is "very good" or "excellent", but it sometimes takes forever to load a page. Sometimes it won't load at all.
So does anyone know what is going here? how can I fix it? i am using a wireless dsl modem.
Update:no, i am using Opera, and Firefox, they sometimes both run slow.
and I am not talking about downloading speed, i am talking about the speed to load a page, it is very slow sometimes.

You're confusing download speed and connection speed. Even on my 120mbps connection (a server farm) I get 40kbps downloads.
Go to http://www.speedtest.net/ That's close to your connection speed. Your download speed is the SLOWEST speed of the server you're downloading from, it's connection to the internet, your connection to the internet and the internet between you. (It's usually the internet that's the lowest part, so no matter how fast your connection is, downloads from a few thousand miles away won't get any faster.)
it is cuz you are likely using internet explorer, it is CRAP, use firefox it is free and the pages will load 10 times faster
It could be your computer...
You could try a different web browser... like firefox.. but that might not help.
