Luka Modriç's move to Real Madrid is almost official, There's only a few formalities to go over between Tottenham and Madrid before it's official.
How do you think Modriç will do at Madrid?
Update:@ MM ~ Incrediesta. Do you REALLY think Madrid doesn't have the money to meet Tottenham's asking price? I mean honestly, do you REALLY believe that? Madrid could buy Camp Nou and turn it into their private pool lounge if they wanted to.
Also, that wasn't my question. My question was "How do you think Modriç will do at Madrid?" You managed to miss the point entirely.

I guess Modric will play in the attacking midfielder, and Di Maria will be replaced with Mesut Ozil.
@Micky Mouse: I did not say that Modric is better than Di Maria. However, Modric fits better in Mourinho's system. If you remember the first thing Mourinho does upon arriving at a club is getting a quality attacking midfielder (Deco, lampard, snejider, Ozil and now Modric). Modric can be as useful as Snejider was in 2009-10.
If that's true then good, Tottenham loses a talent in midfield.
As to how he'll do at Madrid, hard to say really. I mean they've already got Kaka and Ozil, so Modric is gonna come in for backup reasons I guess. Unless Mourinho wants to change things a bit.
"There's only a few formalities to go over between Tottenham and Madrid".
I guess one of the formalities would be agreeing to a transfer free? They aren't close either, agreeing terms with a player means nothing if the clubs can't agree on a deal, it's the club not the player which decides. Did you see what happened with Tevez? He wanted out, and even took a stubborn 6 month holiday just to prove it, but is he away? No.
EDIT: It's not if they have the money, it's if they are willing, and if they were willing, they would have paid it by now, obviously there is difficulties. It is YOU who missed the point entirely. The question was already asked a million times and I have answered it previously, if I wanted your approval I would have said he was going to lead them to a treble but I prefer to do thing my way so don't get smart with me...
@SJ, So you think Modric is a better player than Di Maria? HAHAHA! Now I've heard it all...
@Senor Joke (see I can do it too), why would he buy ANOTHER "quality" attacking midfielder when he already has one in Ozil? It doesn't make any sense to me. Also Mourinho didn't buy Deco or lampard so stop making up stuff.
Kind of a pointless transfer. Modric isn't good enough to break into Real Madrid's XI and he's just going to be a substitute. I suppose for purposed of depth it's good but I think that Modric's career will get killed. He should have stayed at Tottenham or moved to a club who actually needs someone with his qualities.
If that's really what happens, that might be a good move for Madrid. He didn't do bad at the Euros and should definently help out Madrid.
I heard they're asking for around 50.5 million Euros, that's certainly within Madrid's bank account.
if he goes to madrid, what will happen to ozil and kaka? especially kaka, will his career effectively be done at madrid? Ozil of course will play along side with modric or something, but kaka might be in trouble.
Yeah i heard about that he agree with Real Madrid terms all needs is Totteham to Agree
I hope he dosent come to Madrid. I dont like him and hes overrated.
i think he will move
