From Wal-Mart to Macy’s to Bloomingdales, you can find thongs for sale in the menswear departments from coast-to-coast. Calvin Klein, Jockey and even Haynes – every major American manufacturer makes them (not to mention 101 specialty manufacturers) and has them available at stores across America and on 1001 web-stores.
Yet in my decades of shopping for clothes, I can never recall seing anyone actually buy a men’s thong. In my decades of going to gyms in my town and around the world, I recall only two times that some other guy slipped into one (I wear thongs and g-strings routinely, of course).
Thus my questions: Who buys men’s thongs and who wears them? Are they worn only for those “special intimate moments” in the bedroom?

I am a happily married man and started wearing thongs three years ago. Because every guy is different, it took a while to find a style that fit properly, and now I find them to be the most comfortable underwear I've ever worn. I live in Florida and they are wonderful in warmer weather climates. Sleeping in a thong is also very pleasant. I'm not sure where the guys are coming from that say they like to wear women's thongs and g-stings, but for me it's a comfort issue and something I wear as underwear - not for the beach.
Well i as a dancer have to wear one of these. It is called a dance belt and is made in a different way of course to hold up your package so it doesn't go flying around while you move. And they are also made for special bedroom moments. (not the dance belt but the thong) There was an article about two years ago that talked about stores having to bring in more packages of thongs around valentines day. I guess the ladies like to see their man in them. Well hope this helps.
I have no useful information for you! My boyfriend goes commando and hooray. (?) I think a thong is great to avoid tighty-whitey lines or boxer baggage. It takes some getting used to. Like a crack-callous. Ha!
