I got my first job as a hostess at a resturant 2 months ago and ever since I first started I always felt one of the assistant managers (a lady) didn’t like me. She would always be all buddy buddy with my coworkers and ignore me. She talks to me now but only to point out every single mistake I do. They hired a new girl last week and ever since then I’ve been getting treated like sh*t. I’ve been getting sent home by her after 2/3 hours on a BUSY DAY just so they can leave that new girl to work on her own when she knows nothing about the restaurant. When they cut me after 2 hours on Thursday I asked the new girl what time she left and she said around 10 so they gave her about 5 hours when she’s still training. When I was getting trained I would always get cut short. I asked my manager how did it go after she sent me home that day and she was like oh I was pretty slow I sent the new girl home not too long after you because only about 5 other tables came in. Which is a complete lie and after I got sent home yesterday I asked if I could stay longer and she’s like no it’s pretty slow if it was busier we would keep you longer if we could. But it was a FRIDAY and it was not even one bit slow. I got a horrible work schedule next week literally all morning shifts which are always dead and always get cut early as hell. I’m so fed up with this job and how fake the stupid manager is :( any advice
