It's supposedly the Persian (?) title for The Kite Runner, but Google Translate says something really weird (I know, GT is usually wrong, but still). Can anyone translate it? I'm guessing it won't be exactly the same, but any ideas? Thanks.
Update:Oh, I just saw your edit. So Dari is just a dialect of Farsi?
In the book, they're always talking about Farsi. Are they talking about actual Farsi then, or Dari since it's their normal language? You might not have read the book, but at a guess? I really hope you read this, since no-one else's replied yet.

کاغذپرانباز is in fact the title in Dari, the dialect of Persian spoken in Afghanistan. In Farsi it's بادبادکباز
