Hi I've looked all over the internet and nowhere can I find good working codes for pokemon Firered for on an emulator on a mac

I looking for gameshark codes, that are 16 digits long, or codebreaker codes, that are 12 digits long!

They have to be those exact number of digits otherwise they are codes you can use only on a pc.

I only want to use the cheat wild pokemon modifier so I can complete my pokédex!

I tried them and they still don't work. I don't get any errors but when I walk through the grass I don't get the pokémon I want. I had the masterball code working so I don't know what I'm doing wrong
