If (something) が好き means "I like"
好きな(something) means "my favorite (something)
How do u say "the (thing) that I like"???
Suki na does not necessarily mean *favorite*. It just depends on how you translate it.
Suki na hon = my favorite book or just a book that I like
kono hon ga suki desu = i like this book
suki na hon wa kore desu = this is the book i like
kore wa ichiban suki na hon desu = this is my favourite book
