Japanese: Pitch accent on 所で and ところで?
For example these two:
今は私の所で食べましょう。
Let's eat at my place.
そしてところで、あいにく明日の会議に出られません。
And incidentally, unfortunatly I can't appear at tomorrow's meeting.
In my lessons, the first ところで sounds a little different from the second ところで. Like the first is flat until a down pitch on "で", and the second has an up pitch on "こ" and either flat or down on "で".
It is different speakers though in each case, so I can't tell if I am hearing it correctly or not. So my question is if there is a diffrence in pitch between the two uses of ところで?

That recording is pretty natural one. And you have a good hearing.
今は私の所で食べましょう。,is declarative intonation.
-my (noun) de is a adverb phrase modifying 食べましょう simply.
所 is just only one of parts.
ところで、is a conjunctive particle used for changing a story.
So, its pitch goes up and it is stressed as one word.
The punctuation is showing breathing or pause.
There are many similar examples. For instance:
お茶でもどうですか？
でも、そんな時間はありません。( In this case, でも、goes up/ down depending on the mood.)

Another ところ (noun)
しらべたところ（では）、そんな事実はない。There is no fact like that as far as I searched.
In this case the first phrase is a normal connecting, so the intonation is flat.

The first one is simply a noun “ところ=place”+”で”
The second one “ところで” is a conjunction or interjection, introduces another topic as for “by the way”, “incidentally”.
You can pronounce those two with similar intonations.

I think you want to take it easy.
One more thing, to get listener’s attention, “ところで” could be given stress on it.
That can make its sound deferent from usual one.
They should be the same. In Kanto-ben, the first and second syllables need to be different (proper pitch in this case is 1st syllable down, 2nd up and it says up until the postposition), but in Kansai-ben, both 1st and 2nd syllables can be the same. However, I'm not sure if there is indeed a difference in this word in both dialects and if the speakers you heard came from different places.
