The owner of where my family rents doesn’t want my dog anymore and I don’t know where to put her and I’ve already tried family and friends but no luck in finding a home for her so now I’m lost on who to look for since the internet always gives me sites for euthanizing shelters and I don’t want my dog to end up in a shelter where she might get mistreated or killed. Please help me, I am all ears for any solution or recommendation and even contacts for organizations that help dogs.

Look for Pitbull rescue groups in your area. Hopefully you can find one that has room. It will be difficult considering that there are too many backyard breeders out there breeding pit bulls and mixes and most end up in a shelter or rescue group after a few years.
I went to one rescue group just to look at small dogs to adopt - they had very few but they had TONS of pits and pit mixes that no one wanted.
Search on bully breed rescues. That's really your only hope. Even if you have had the dog for that long living there, if she has become a nuisance you don't really have much of a choice. Pull out your lease and see what it says about pets - on one hand, the fact that you have had her for 10 years without an issue means something, on the other hand you would have a legal battle to fight in small claims court. In the end you may face eviction, may end up rehoming the dog anyway, or have an angry landlord to deal with if he loses the case. Tough situation. Read the lease, contact bully breed rescues, and contact a lawyer if necessary. Find out what the other tenants are objecting to, and see if it's something you can fix (barking, not cleaning up after the dog, etc.).
Unless you didn't get it IN WRITING (bearing in mind most Rental Agreements in the UK have a no pet clause which has to be countered by a note, in writing again), then I don't think a landlord can change this - yes, once you've left, he could enforce the no pets/dogs clause but I don't think he can now. Many insurance companies can be breed-specific in terms of covering the policy-holder.
Before you do anything, you need to have a lawyer check your Rental Agreement re keeping pets on the property.
Its a pit bull... Your odds of finding a good home are slim to none. Most renters cant keep the breed. Most homeowners dont want the breed since many insurance companies wont cover it.
Move to somewhere that will allow the dog.
In the ocean, back in the food chain.
Look for a bully breed mutt rescue near you. Just Google where you live and Pit Bull rescue.
Why did you get this dog if it's not allowed? Most landlords ban them since their insurance won't give them liability insurance if they have them since they're so likely to attack.
Woah, woah, woah. The owner of the place you and your family rent doesn't want your dog around anymore? Um, they can't just decide that. The owner of the place you and your family rent is your landlord, and they cannot just change the rental agreement. That is not at all legal. When you and your family moved in, there was a contract you signed. Unless the contract said no dogs were allowed, or no pit bulls were allowed, they cannot just change their mind. Even if it said no pit bulls were allowed but they said your dog was okay, they can't just go back on that.
There is a great article about tenants rights with there pets: https://www.humanesociety.org/resources/informatio...
Landlords cannot just change their minds about pets if there is nothing in the contract.
First I would try to get your pet registered as a support animal is you have any issues like anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc that is made better by having your dog. It's very easy to do. Just go to your doctor or a therapist, let them know the issue you have, and tell them it's very helpful for you to have your dog, and they can get your dog registered as a support animal. It is NOT the same thing as a therapy dog, they don't have to be perfectly behaved or anything. If your dog is a support animal, landlords can NOT discriminate against you and your pet by telling you to get rid of your dog, even if they don't allow pets. You still get to keep your pet.
If the contact does say no pets, and you were hiding the dog previously, and your doctor will not designate your dog as a support animal, then I would fine a nearby no kill rescue. Grassroot shelters are often the best. Call your local Humane Society, and ask them if they know of any no-kill rescues nearby. Look online. Try going on petfinder, and seeing what rescues are posting, and message them and ask them how to find a good no kill rescue for your dog. There are usually lots of tiny foster type rescues around that are no kill. They should at least do a courtesy post for your dog. That means you give them your dog's info, keep the dog with you, and they post your dog on their site, so people looking for a pet will see him, and contact you through them.
Don't do anything drastic. Landlords have to follow laws, and can't just evict you all of sudden, so you've got a bit of time to look. But first, look into whether they even have the legal right to do this, and see if your dog can be your emotional support animal first.
U can try going on Google and search for pit bull rescues in your area, for example: pit bull rescues in Jacksonville, FL. If u have any near u then I suggest contacting them and explaining your situation. Im sorry this is happening to u and your dog. Too bad your landlord wont consider letting u keep her for additional fee added to your rent. If u want to comment on my answer telling me your city and state, I can possibly help u find some place to help.
You should have asked your landlord if they were okay with a dog and if there were any breed restrictions. Crying about it now is late, your dog is paying the ultimate price for your being sneaky and not letting them know you were getting a Pitt. Nothing wrong with the dogs except the insurance companies will not insure properties that have them. No fire insurance or anything,
You can try Pitt bull rescues and you may have to donate a good chunk of money to keep her alive other wise unless you can find a home for her she's out if time, most shelters euthanize bully breeds except boxers.
Try running an ad in the paper and see if you get any takers but ask for references, you don't want her going to someone that will try and fight her or use her for a bait dog, euthanasia would be better than that type of life.
