I had this argument with my English teacher about whether the Shrödinger's cat thought experiment is a paradox or not, and when she asked my Physics teacher she said it was not a paradox. Is the Shrödinger's cat experiment a paradox, and if yes, how can I prove it to my teachers?

It was a thought experiment (not a physical one) to demonstrate how to handle situations where two events are equally likely to happen. It's the fact that the observers can't know the result until they open the box, and therefore have to assume that both results are true at the same time.
It's not a paradox, because it doesn't lead to a situation where an assumption proves to contradict itself, and by contradicting itself, it proves to be true.
It's not really a paradox, it was shrodinger's way of conveying to everyone how "ridiculous" the predictions of quantum mechanics really were.
