It only seems that way. Most recorded temperatures are in the cities. There concrete and asphalt raise temperatures a few degrees higher than the surrounding countryside. Part of the warming phenomena is a result of city temperatures were lower in the past because there were more trees and less asphalt. I know they try to take this into account but I doubt they are able to know how much difference 50-100 years of development would change temperatures.

Global warming is just a left wing liberal Democrat hoax. That way they can raise our taxes to pay for green stuff like planting more trees or giving money to Al Gores Carbon credits. It's all a fake. In fact, the planet is a .25 degree cooler the past 3 years so it is cooling and not heating.

Back in the 70s it was global cooling, if something was not done there would be a ice age, I guess we done whatever it was too good because now its getting too warm.
