teenage pregnancy is down.
Remember the 1500's-1700's? Most females were mothers by age 14, and they married men age 30's-40's. After that age, you were considered an old hag. Keep in mind, you did not live as long in that time as we do now. So what's the difference? Stupidity. The people of the 1500's through the 1700's did not have television, or other non-productive activities. They spent their time learning and working, especially at an early age. By the time they were teenagers, they could run farms by themselves. Today's teens are stupid, immature, inexperienced children. Then when they think they are ready to be sexually active and adults tell them NO! they don't listen.
Do I think it's cliche' yes. But it shouldn't be. Parents need to be concerned about this epidemic, and it should never be taken lightly.
i'm a sixteen 365 days previous lady and that i've got confidence that the teenager e book marketplace would desire to write extra books like the gorgeous Little Liars sequence. Its a mix of puzzle, romance, and the rigors of growing to be up. i think of that precise now technological know-how fiction or romance is commonest. i'd decide for to make sure books approximately regularly occurring human beings coping with the comparable undertaking i'm coping with: divorce, drugs, intercourse, friendship drama...
Miss-I-Know-I'm-All-That- HA. The name just sums it up so well. What's wrong with me having a son who is 17 years younger than me? It simply means that I will have my son for most of my life, and he will have his mother until he is a very old man. I think that's just wonderful. Not that I recommend teen pregnancy, of course. I'd much rather be 17 years older than my son, than be 40 years older than my son. We are going to live a long, happy life together. So stfu.
Ummm, no?
Teenage pregnancy rates are decreasing.
Who the hell watches Juno, and feels inspired to have babies? Really. I mean, does it glorify teen pregnancy? No. So why, then, do people act like movies and television shows such as Juno inspire young girls to get pregnant?
I think that due to lack of education and lack of experience, girls get pregnant. Not because they really want to have children. Also, teenage mothers CAN (most are, from my experience) just as maternal and just as good to their children as mothers who are in their 30's with young children.
As long as they continue their education and go on to get a good profession, they are doing well. Lots of older women have babies while going to law school or medical school. Sure it's hard, but us women are strong. Young or not.
It's become more tolerated for some strange reason. Like society doesn't expect too much from us nowadays.
that doesnt make any sense, cliche means that something was cool but was over done. Being pregnant as a teen was never cool its stupid and irresponsible. So no its not cliche and it never will be because it would have to be the cool and popular thing to do. if girls are trying to get pregnant to be cool they are stupid.
cliches are often based in truth and sadly yes teen pregnancy is a cliche
