My sons teacher of 4th grade had been noticing what she called an “epidemic of foul language” erupting in the class. So she found a big hole in the ground at recess and told the kids that if they need to cuss then go cuss down into the hole to get it out of their system. The kids found it hilarious so there’s a huge line at recess everyday to go cuss their heads off by yelling curse words into a hole in the ground. Eventually will they stop or will it only Escalade? It seems like they keep trying to compete for who can say the worst most vulgar thing into the hole

What kind of adult doesn’t know the word “escalate”?
The practice of yelling profanities in a hole, may make the children feel entiltled to use the laungauge at home. Speak to the teacher to have a better policy handling this.
No, it's not a good idea. First, they need to learn not to use that language in most situations. Second. she's just encouraging them to use bad language. Here's what I think is the problem- those "forbidden" words, for most of us, are used as a relief from extreme emotional feelings. The only time I curse is when someone almost kills me on the road! If they're used all the time, they lose all that power. Then the only release we have for extreme emotions is to hit something or destroy something. That's not good.
I suggest you talk to the teacher and tell her that you don't approve of this strategy.
