Look i may not be the right person for this, but i have no idea what that all means. A simple answer to your question is NO, why would he be and why would you be interested in a guy who communicates like that. I am old fashion talking face to face seems to be the only way to talk to a guy or girl to see if they are interested or not, then you can read all there body language, there eyes are the key not what they put on a txt or facebook.
How did he become your bf before you knew his facebook? Anyway that convo is kinda lame sounds like he wasn't in the mood...but my first question still baffles me. Good luck.
