we flirt a ton and i feel like he likes me a lot!
he rubs up against me and touches my arms and hands. he used to do it a ton but kinda toned it down.
i catch him staring at me all the time. during lunch and classes.
In the class we sit across from each other, his shoulders are leaned in towards me and he keeps his hands and arms all over my papers.
i bended a paper clip into a heart and it was screwed up so he re did it for me and said,”he would never break my heart”
he laughs at all my jokes and says he likes music that i like when i know he doesn’t like it.
it also seems like he tells me stories to impress me.
it *seems* like he volunteers to do things with me.
but heres the thing, im single, he’s single, i like him, i THINK he likes me... why wont he ask me out???
i mean he broke up with his gf like 1-2 months ago and im feeling like im too optimistic about this.
p.s we are in 8th.

If he just broke up like you said, he might be taking a break to bring his game back on track and if he is doing this on YOU of all the girls that are easier to get then i think you have a green light. He could also be scared of another bad relationship so he wants to make sure ur the one.

I'm almost positive he is just scared of rejection, I know that's why I never made a move on a girl when I was your age. We all seem to have an irrational fear of being rejected harshly and embarrased, or maaking the friendship weird, if your pretty sure he likes you, ask him out, say something like "maybe you should take me out on a date."
Oh, this guy totally likes you... Or at least has a crush on you :) Trust me... he sound's like he would be the type to keep around ;) But y'all are only in 8th grade, so it's not that big of a deal... Dating just might not be right, right now. Just give it time... But if what you say is true... He's just that into you :p
