The Bible says that once the church age is finished Satan will be loosed to assault the churches and congregations with false gospels near the end of time:
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, (Revelation 20:7)
And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ariseth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. (Revelation 11:7)
And it was given him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. (Revelation 13:7)
Sadly it is true that God’s Spirit has left the churches; but the Spirit of God is still operating in the world: as a matter of fact, God’s plan is to save a great multitude of people* outside of the churches during the great tribulation period:
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. (2 Thessalonians 2:7)

Come the rapture, can I have your stuf?
I don't see any connection with the end times and Ismael as a plan for salvation anywhere in the Bible. It is a misconception that the Holy Spirit will be taken out from the churches. That is never clearly stated in the Bible. People interpret a verse to mean that. You clearly have a great harvest of those who are beheaded for the testimony of Christ during a great tribulation and when the Antichrist is around (The book of Revelation). You cannot be a Christian without the Holy Spirit so CLEARLY if there are still Christians around then the church is around. Ephesians says there is ONE body and Jesus is the head. you cannot have the church gone and then have people still saved and not belong to the church.
That is why the pretrib view goes against scriptrue. A better interpetation that does not go against the scripture is that the restrainer is an angel of God. There is precedent for that in the book of Revelation where God has certain angels release judgements.
God hopes to win many Jews to Jesus during the great tribulation. There will be 144,000 Jews going around preaching that Jesus is the Messiah during that time. Right now God welcomes all to Him through Christ Jesus.
Right now, we are in the time of the Gentiles. HOwever, it is now the Gentiles who will lead the Jews to Christ in the last days. It is through the Jews and the promise that Gentiles were saved. However, now it is through the Gentiles that the Jews will come to Jesus. Interesting, huh? :-)
