So for my birthday, my uncle gave me $100 in a single bill, which is awkward because I like to use smaller bills like $20’s. Can I go to a bank and break the 100 into smaller bills? I don’t have a bank account either so will they let me? Do I need an ID of any kind?

You should see if you can open a savings account with part of it. Get in the habit of putting a part of any money you get in there. If it gets over $1000 talk to your parents about opening an investment account like a stock mutual fund. In the end it may not seem like much but getting into a savings and investing mindset early will carry you a long way in life.
Yes, or you can just use it for a purchase and the store will give you change.
Any bank, store or restaurant will do that for you.
Absolutely. I did that when I was about 12 (It was a $10 bill, and I needed change to catch the bus).
Yes, they will and you won't need ID
You might do well to go to your parents' bank in the company of one of your parents. Embarrassing, maybe, but more certain.
I break my hundreds at CVS by using the machine to buy a candy bar. That way the cashiers don't give me and the bill a dirty look. Anywhere that has a machine checkout would work.
yes you can
i dont see why not, i would take id just in case, if the bank wont do it just buy sonnething with it and you can break it that way
At my bank, we have people that don’t have an account and they just break the bills. If not, just go to a grocery store at 8am
