Who determined it was worth $950? And how bad do I need the money? I don't have a gun but I should probably get one given the makeup of my neighborhood. I should move but I'm just not keen on spending 3 times as much to live in a better zip code. Now I understand why my grandparents lived in a ghetto. I will be too in 10 years.
Anything is only worth what someone will pay for it. You could have something that YOU think is worth a million. But if no-one will buy it, you never get the million.
It depends on if I needed the money and/or just how badly I wanted to get rid of it.
But if I had tried to sell something ( regardless of what it is ) for almost half a year and I deemed it to be a reasonable offer, most likely I'd say yes...
I personally have decided to never. ever sell a gun. Some day some people will have guns and other people will have gold, and then some people will have both the guns and the gold.

If you have been trying to sell it for 5 months, and the BEST offer you get is $700, THE MARKET has determined it isn't worth $950.
If you want to sell the gun, REAL LIFE just told you $700 is the actual value.
It's worth what someone will pay.
