I know they aren't health food, but most people, even the ones for healthy food feed bad treats sometimes. I feed raw, but for treats it's MilkBones. Anyways, I'm not here to be insulted, please save that for something else.
If you are a MilkBone feeder;;;; what kind do you feed?

The dogs get a LARGE Regular Milk•Bone every morning. They love it.
Of course, we just ran out so I had to make some bones.
What kind des Tiger get?
Hey, sometimes everyone deserves a little treat. I have two large dogs-golden and a lab. I feed them two little Milk Bones when I want them to come inside, or go in the kennel. Nothing wrong with a little treat now and then!
We usually feed a combination of just the traditional medium, and the Flavor Snacks.
At least, I think that's what's in the bin at the moment.
We also have Bulk Barn brand stuff as well. Those treats are usually only for brining in the paper in the morning.
We have others for training.
I feed EVO brand milk bones. They are grain free and more healthy than most of the other brands. They are also small and easy to break in half wich is great when I am telling my dogs to stay or come. I also make raw hamburger treats.
Good luck!
About twice a week, after the dishes are cleaned up, I end up giving my 5yo 57 lb girl a taste of dinner. A tablespoon of veg or protein in her food bowl. No fat since she tends towards diarrhea....right now she's trying to eat a bug.
She likes baby carrots (she's a lab, what wouldn't she like?). As for Milk Bones, well I get her Trader Joes treats now and then.
I usually have a box of all kinds in my pantry. My boys are both big dogs, so I like the large ones as a mid-day snack. The medium and small sizes (the multi-colored ones,) I use for training since they are a lot smaller.
I rotate (so my dogs does not lose interest) between distinctive manufacturers holistic manufacturers like Orijen, grain-unfastened Acana, well being middle, style of the Wild, and at times The trustworthy Kitchen (rigidity and Embark). they're all grain-unfastened with an more suitable meat/protein content and the closest you will get to a dogs weight loss application contained in the wild in commercial kibble. at times she gets some canned foodstuff (Blue Buffalo barren area, style of the Wild, well being, Dogswell, and so on.) or toppers jumbled in with it (complete organic foodstuff). now and back, she additionally gets some additions, like a scrap of uncooked hormone-unfastened meat, gibblets, and/or bone (we get it as quickly as we are making waiting our own nutrients), a uncooked egg (with the shell), or slightly fat-unfastened cottage cheese (for residing microbials). and of direction, she gets a liquid multi-diet supplement together with her foodstuff 2 or thrice a week to make effective her weight loss application is nutritionally complete and a salmon oil tablet on a non-diet day if the foodstuff substitute into made with a plant oil extremely of fish oil (omega 3 has an more suitable result on carnivores). i could like to feed the Prey style uncooked weight loss application, yet I in basic terms have not got the time.
When we used to use them - many months back - we always got the ones that were in varieties. Three flavours I think.
Our dogs loved 'em.
Then we found homemade treats at our local feed store that were the same price, but the dogs loved them more; so we kept them instead.
I give the Meaty Steak Bones and the large 4 flavor milk bones to my boys 3 times a week...It will not hurt them if not given daily.
I have two boxes of the medium sized variety Milk Bones in the 'Dog Cupboard', but I don't really give them to my dogs. My cat seems to like them more! Haha
