If the measures of the angles of a triangle are represented by (x+20)°, (2x-10)° and (3x+20)°, the triangle must be: Either Isosceles, Obtuse, Right, or Equilateral...Please do not only give the answer, but also explain it. THanks so much, 10 points to best answer.

Recall that a triangle's angles ALWAYS adds up to 180°.
Using that, we have:
(x + 20) + (2x - 10) + (3x + 20) = 180
==> 6x + 30 = 180
==> 6x = 150
==> x = 25
So the angles are 25 + 20 = 45, 2(25) - 10 = 50 - 10 = 40, and 3(25) + 20 = 95 and the triangle is obtuse because it has an angle more than 90 degrees.
I hope that helps!
Make this into an equation and solve for x.
When you add all three angles for any triangle you get 180 degrees.
(x+20)+(2x-10)+(3x+20)=180
add like amounts 20+20-10=30 1x+2x+3x=6x
6x+30=180
-30 -30
6x=150
divide both sides by 6 6x/6=x 150/6=25
therefore x=25
plug 25 in for x 25+20+50-10+75+20=180
add first two #'s together for 1st angle and so on.
Angles are: 45 degrees, 40 degrees, and 95 degrees.
Making the triangle an obtuse triangle because one angle is larger than 90 degrees
If the measures of the angles of a triangle are
represented by (x+20)°, (2x-10)° and (3x+20)°,
the triangle must be: Either Isosceles, Obtuse,
Right, or Equilateral...
6x+30=180
6x=150
x=25
angles are 45,40,95
triangle is obtuse
try doing without reading my whole answer and only using it after u think u got the answer. lets say that: angle A=x degrees angle B=2x-20 degrees angle C=3x-10 degrees there r 180 degrees in any triangle correct? so then: x+(2x-20)+(3x-10)=180 6x-30=180 add 30 to both sides 6x=210 divide both sides by 6 to get x alone x=35 u now know that angle A=35 degrees. just plug in x, or 35, for the other equations. angle B=70-20=50 angle C=105-10=95 the degrees of the angles are 35, 50, and 95 im going to assume that u already know the definitions of equilateral, right, obtuse, and isosceles triangles. if u dont, then just go to google or whatever search engine you like and find out. hope i helped :)
