I think the best answer is being self-aware, self-conscious, and letting society get to us. Too many people are not who they truly are. People getting tatted up and pierced everywhere they possibly can to try and stay away from being "mainstream", people trying to be weird or odd just to be special. Then you have the people in a suite and tie every day, smiling and trying to be "that guy" in a business professional way. We do things we don't like in order to try and like ourselves, and get others to like us.
We should never give up on our dreams and we should not pursue things we don't want to do unless those are things that are important to fit in with society...we have to have certain moral standards and we should go for the stars..and try to have dreams and reach them....Nobody when they wake up do know if this is their last day....some people are ill and know their days might be numbered but we all could have an accident so we all have to make the most out of life whilst we are alive...Like in the Jon Bon Jovi song...'' I want to live whilst I'm alive...it's my life...'' everybody should live like that but I do believe that nothing is over when life on this earth ends, because i do believe life is a journey and I believe in god and i believe in heaven...the soul will live on and in all eternity and I don't believe death is to be feared...it's just dying and the fear of the unknown but I believe what comes after is a journey into a beautiful place and pain will be over and the body will be whole again and through all the pain and through all the hard times, there is an angel with us...we can't see that angel but we feel it's presence if he learn to have faith and faith is to believe in things that can't be seen...as one of my favourite singers Josh Groban sings in ''To where you are'' a beautiful song about a young woman who passed on but he can still feel her presence..she is not really gone because love is much stronger and we never ever forget those we love, they are in our hearts forever...so there is no real death...the memory stays alive for all times...x
We do so many things we dont like because its what the majority have to do to survive as the elite few have control , and they are sadly selfish...it then leaves people dreaming about things that are out of their reach and deemed activities that are only available to those with money power Etc... And with the time to do so...
I havent explained that all that well... I dont have my sociology head fully on today sorry =/
