One can not know that your soul will be happy in the next life, or even in the near future. One must work to become stronger and more sensitive spiritually so that your future will be a better one. One can not expect that one is going to have a better future just because one dies. One needs to expect that in future lives one will still need to deal with more of a similar type of reality as one is facing in the present. One should always make assumptions about the future whether in this life or beyond starting with ones understanding about how reality is working in the present. One should not expect to escape from the reality one is in now just by virtue of dying. One has to respect the value of this reality you are in at the moment and the valuable purpose it serves a little more than that. The idea that reality will magically change in the future in this life or beyond is not the best way to approach the future.

Ones spirit's ability to cope with the challenges and overcome the obstacles in this material reality is important to bringing joy to your life. One needs to take on the challenges in ones life, like someone taking on the challenge to climb Mt. Everest. Once one has conditioned oneself body, mind, and spirit to handle what ever difficulties life can present to you, then one can really do a lot to make your life a valuable one and one one can feel good about.

One should try to make the most of what potential one has and try to contribute what one can to making this world a better place. One can get joy from accomplishing positive things in this world that one can take pride in. It may be really challenging to make things happen, but overcoming challenges really can build up ones character and make one stand out later as someone who can handle an awful lot. One can get a lot of empathy for others that have it rough in this world through knowing personally how rough life can really be.

Reincarnation into a similar type reality in a similar type material world is all you should expect after death. One must not expect that reality will be altered in the future. One can use meditation/prayer, mind-body exercise(not done excessively), and eating healthy, to help one to gain the spiritual strength to be better able to make ones future a better one.

You arent supposed to be happy in this life. God promised the next life would not be like this one. There will be no more sorrow or pain or death. It will be what he meant the world to be in the beginning. Perfect and a Paradise. Therefore read the bible and be encouraged. Follow Christ and cast your sorrows on him.

Perhaps it is karma and you are paying for what you did in the previous life. If it is, then you will hopefully be finished with it for the next one and will be happy then. Please do not jump off a bridge in the meantime.

Who knows if there's a next? That's why its the time to act now and take control!
