If I only earned £7,624 gross in this tax year,paying full tax, how much tax would I get back?
I am unmarried, making 1618.75 a month, but am leaving the country 4.7 months into the 2008-9 tax year.

An accurate answer depends on knowing the tax allowances you are entitled to for 2008-09. However, if it is just the normal personal allowance (ie. your current tax code is 543L) you will get about £750 back.
This can be calculated as:
£5435 (current personal allowance) x 7/12 (unused months) + £600 (increased personal allowance due to take effect in Sept 2008), all multiplied by 20% (tax rate).
