thanks :)
1. f(x) = −4x − 2
2. -4(-3)-2
3. 12-2
4. 10
Hope this helps!
What that basically says is find the function of x when x=3.
So:
f (3) = -4 (-3) - 2
=12 - 2
=10
10.
Just substitute -3 for X:
(-4) x (-3) - 2
12 - 2 =10
(Don't forget a negative times a negative is a positive.)
