Like the previous answerer, I am confused. What is "the contrary of its contraposition"?
Say there is a statement: if P, then Q.
The converse (conversion): if Q, then P.
The inverse (inversion): if NOT P, then NOT Q.
The contrapositive (contraposition): if NOT Q, then NOT P.
If the statement is true, the contraposition will be true.
If the statement is false, the contraposition will be false.
If the converse is true, the inverse will be true.
If the converse is false, the inverse will be false.
In this case, the contrapositive will be false. The inverse of the contrapositive, or the converse of the original statement, is undetermined. The converse of the contrapositive, or the inverse of the original statement, would also be undetermined.
I would simply say it is true, although the wording of the question is in itself oppositional.
