If a customer thinks they gave a shop assistant a £10 note for an item and they gave them change for a £5 note?

Customer insistes it was a £10 note given, but assistant says it was a £5 note. The manager checks the till transactions in cash for the day against the daily reports of cash taken. Till is not over by £5. This is checked in front of the customer. Customer still says I gave £10 and insistes the associate gives them back their £5 accusing them of fiddling. What else can you do
