The message in your new album is personally recognizable and i sincerely appreciate your ambition to help troubled youth.

The charity I would suggest is House of Hope. Although if your are interested in something a little different, I would encourage that you participate in a more global charity. Teenagers I believe are similar worldwide, these youth feel just as displaced as those close to home. However their extreme poverty confines them so that they are not allowed the 'luxury' of expression through anger and rebellion. For example, east African teenagers forced into prostitution (male and female) often state that they are ashamed and sad. Not often enough do they claim to be angry, scared and frustrated, I am not sure that the cultural up-bring allows for the expression of such emotion, this is why their situation is in dire need of attention. Listening and relating to your album, I don't know if I could have survived the last couple of years not knowing that the expressions within those lyrics were allowable ("Get out alive") It is a desperate feeling when you feel alone and can't even label the emotion. I hope I have been of some slight assistance.

I don't know what are any charities you can help. But maybe to let some troubled teens know what your cd is about you can try and goto a few highschools in almost every state in the U.S. and just sing a few songs off your cd. I know that most teens that luv music will listen to you cuz hey you know you were a teen before too so they see what you have become now and they may look up to you and try and stay out of trouble. See teens don't always listen to lectures but they do listen to music and the words of it so thats a great way to get through to troubled teens. Im sorry if i didn't answer your question. But i hope what i said helps you in some way. I like music that has a meaning especially rock type music cuz thats all i listen to. Good Luck!!

start an organization ! or have a concert and all the money be for the charity that whom you would like to help. hope that is an anwser that is useful. and sorry if it is not. hopefully you will find a way. glad someone is trying to help instead of pointing the finger at the teens wrong. and sing about your own feelings and experimences helps teens (i would know considering i am one) it is hard to go through life when people expect so much and when school ,home and even friends are there and you know you can talk to them but you dont want to burden them with your problems or you just think its a waste of time . And then all your emotions eat away at you until you finally break and in my case end up cutting , But God helps me and so does music .i love your music b/c it helps me and when i am angry i can scream a song and feel better b/c the lyics relate to me in my lfe or how i am feeling that day. but good luck and keep writting great music. your fan.love Heidi Spradlin

Someone eariler mentioned spreading the word of your album and maybe going to a few highschools... I think it's a great idea. I'm a teen who sees the troubles that kids go through everyday and music definatley helps trouble kids. By listening to your music they can express themselves and know that they are never alone despite what their immediate surroundings are like. Going to a few highschools around the country might encourage kids and teens even more, it will give them courage to go out and find help. If you could, talk to schools about finding help and how your lyrics express what you feel, and if you're lucky at least one troubled teen will connect, understand and get help. It may save a life, if a teen becomes troubled enough that they consider taking there own life. Great job.

This is my thought. You don't have to believe me or not but there is really no charity to help troubled teens. I feel this way because I believe I am also a troubled teen. If a teen is troubled they are not going to reach out for help. The only way you can get to someone through charity is to have kids go to a church camp. But if you don't believe in that type of thing, what will make them want to go? Nothing really. As a teen, you are to hyper and don't have enough attention span to want to sit through that. The best way you can get to a teen is through your music basically. Don't believe me? What is the one thing that a teen loves to do the most besides hang out with their Friends? Listen to their music. The one thing a teen does to re cooperate from something stressful or to relieve themselves of anger is to go to their room to hide themselves from the world which they live around, and listen to music. Music is what really calms the mind. So if you are looking for a charity, look at your music.

Most schools have a mentor program, there is never enough mentor's for troubled kids. These program is a inside school program that u actually visit during the school day and help them with problem in school, bullies , classwork and focusing on what they have to accomplish during the day. You get 1 hr 3 days a wk and after school is up to the parent. This would require ur time only what u spend is solely up to u. But really time is what our kids need. And might i add a background ck is required.

i think its really cool you want to help i dont know of any charities that are for troubled teens but you guys could start a new one i know that a lot of kids are inspired by successful people who came from a similar background it gives them hope and shows them their dreams can come true if they really try. i think a charity that involves stars or other successful people who reach out to teens by donating money for college and higher education for those who cant afford it and start designing more places for troubled teens to go somewhere where they can have fun and be safe from all the bad things they deal with from day to day. i always try my best to reach out to some of the teens in my neighborhood because i see them a lot working at the minit mart out by my house they always skateboard and hang out around the store. teens especially troubled need a safe haven where they can go when they need to talk to someone or just want to get away from all the drama and have fun hope this helps sorry it is so long and i love your music

Contact your local police department. They can tell you of local charitable organizations or state wide that help with troubled teens. Ask several questions concerning what you feel like a program should do the one that's feels the best help that one out.

When I was in 6th grade, I suddenly started to not want to be with my friends anymore. I was allmost going through a midlife crisis with my friends. Now these friends have been the only people i have been exposed to for 7 years. The next year in 7th grade i started to hang out with a new girl. I made new and different friends. I just grew apart from my old ones. this may be happening to you to, just that your new girl isen't here yet. Good luck!
