Okay so, all the staff at my workplace moan about how the staff get treated by management and how bad management are.
I’ve never really had a problem, until now.
I rang in sick for work today, and I’m on shift tomorrow, and then on annual leave for a week for my birthday.
The home manager has just told me that if I don’t go in for my shift tomorrow, I’m not entitled to my annual leave.
Now is this actually true, can they take your annual leave from you? Or are they just threatening me to go in? Because as far as I know, everyone has their right to annual leave. It’s been signed for, and I’ve been put on the rota for annual leave. Could anyone help me?

Companys can change their policies. Maybe the anual leave policy they have has changed or maybe you're misunderstanding something you have to do for it to be entitled for pay for that time off like you have to work the day before and after or something. Ask him why you would not be entitled if you don't go in.
Lots of places require you to work your shifts the day before and the day after your leave so that you can't call off as a way to make your vacation longer. You should probably just work the shift.
Some companies have a policy that forbids taking a day off for any reason immediately before or after a planned vacation. They do this because it prevents employees from attempting to tack on an extra day or two (which is very common). You wouldn't lose your vacation time...but they can require you to reschedule.
My advice is that if you don't think you are being treated properly you should work somewhere else.
We dont know, have a look at your contract of employment. To me it sounds like they think you have thrown a sicky today and want you in tomorrow.
If the place is as bad as everyone says it is I'd be looking for a new job.
